I promised I would have some developments on this network and today the application process has begun. Keep in mind that during this initial application period that it may take some time to respond to everyone as I will most likely be the one approving applicants for now.

Welcome to the Array

I wanted to write a short post to follow up on my tweet. I myself have been mulling over what this site will be used for and the potential it could have.

Coming soon you’ll be able to see another page on the site that will take you to a plethora of people and communities that feature our beloved Halo. From there you’ll be able to see other like minded folks and watch, follow and subscribe to stay up to date on their content.

From what I’ve seen there’s a lot of good content out there that just needs the exposure. That is what I plan to accomplish with The Halo Array.

Cross promotion is key so part of the process is to promote your fellow network members.

Halo Bulletin: 4.17.13

This weeks bulletin doesn’t contain nearly as much as the last one, however there is still some awesome information contained.

To sum of the current state of weapon tuning, here is the fine folks at GoBeyondEntertainment with a video on the proposed changes to weapon balancing.

As far as playlist updates go, Regicide is getting an update with DLC maps added into them. Additionally the settings for Grifball will be updated to the current community settings.  Some multi-team gametypes will be upped to 500 score instead of 300.

Last but not least is that JIP (Join in Progress) is getting tweaked significantly. The window to JIP is going to be reduced to a smaller window, and FFA is going to have an even smaller window. The release for these changes have not been made as of yet. Personally I believe that JIP needs to go or at least be an option to turn on or off.
